6 Days Desert Tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Fes

Your tour begins with a pick-up in Casablanca. Visit the famous Hassan II Mosque before traveling to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Explore Rabat’s main attractions including the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue to Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt

After breakfast, depart from Fes and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco, and continue to the cedar forests near Azrou where you may see Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

Travel through the scenic Ziz Valley known for its palm groves and spectacular views. Continue through desert landscapes and traditional villages before arriving in Merzouga near the Sahara Desert dunes.

Day 4: Merzouga – Camel Trek – Sahara Desert Camp

Spend the morning exploring the Merzouga area and visiting nomad families. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset before arriving at your desert camp where you will enjoy dinner, Berber music, and a night under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before leaving the desert. Visit the traditional market of Rissani and continue to Todra Gorge where you can walk between towering canyon walls. Continue to Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses and continue to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech where the tour ends.
